Fortissimo 2020 is a go!

“Children’s dreams have no boundaries or fears. Children now dream big, they believe that no goal is too far away and have overcome insurmountable social, economic obstacles with the help of their families and communities to improve the world.“

This spring, Chords for a Cause is lucky to be hosting Fortissimo, an opportunity for kids to get involved with the arts, give back to their community, and have fun! This is our first-ever concert of its kind.

We are holding the 2020 Fortissimo concert to support CRY America, an incredible organization that works to overcome child abuse in India. The organization has helped enable change in the lives of children all across India. 9,519 child laborers have been rescued, 177,814 children have been immunized, 324,368 children mainstreamed into public schools and 501 villages/slums are now child labor free.

We will have school and youth choirs from across Houston performing, as well as musicians from the Houston Youth Symphony. Gavin Crawford, a competitor on the Food Network Kids Baking Championship show is selling cupcakes and other baked goods, and all proceeds will be donated.

We do not have an online donation option for this concert, however, all in-person donations and revenue from sales will be donated to CRY America.
