2018 Autumn Leaves Winter Recital!

Me and my friends from Nolan Ryan Junior High Orchestra spent our Saturday morning baking cookies, making holiday cards and playing Christmas music for the residents of a memory care facility. Our Winter Recital at the Autumn Leaves Senior Living Home was a success! We did so many great things this year and I could not be prouder.

With the help of Ms. Fuentes, we rehearsed and put together a 30-minute program of Christmas songs including

• ” A Holly Jolly Christmas,” by Burl Ives.
• ” Feliz Navidad,” by Jose Feliciano.
• ” Jingle Bell Rock,” by Bobby Helms.

We also made a poster and holiday cards to raise the residents’ spirits. These were both a group effort and I’m so happy we could all work together to make a great recital happen.
