2016 Rhythm On Ice – Thank you!
We held our second Rhythm on Ice Recital las weekend and it was a major success! So much planning has gone into the event, including designing the invite, rehearsing, setting up our GoFundMe account, and so much more. We are so lucky to have been able to be able to put this program together.
One highlight of our recital was the attendance of Paul Wylie, the 1992 Olympic Silver Medalist in men’s figure skating. It was so incredible to have someone so invested in the sport there with us to celebrate the amazing Skate Therapy program.
We had two pianists play at this recital. We also included Lucina Reyes and Natalie Linares, who played a violin and guitar duet. Their piece was such a hit that our audience asked for an Encore!
We raised a little over $2,300 for the Skate Therapy program, which will be used for equipment, skates, ice time, and more. This year’s concert was a success, and we hope to make our concert bigger and better next year!
