Virtual Arts for Humanity- $7,000 Raised!
This fall, Virtual Arts for a Humanity is bringing performing artists of various disciplines together for a series of charity concerts benefiting Feeding America, the United States’ largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Feeding America rescues groceries, offers rescued food to food banks, ensures the safety of foods in manufacturers and retailers, and advocates on behalf of people facing hunger.
Held virtually, the concerts highlight both dancers and musicians through Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube platforms through live streams, and/or recorded collaborations. This month, we held a concert featuring works by Mozart, Bartok, and Chopin. Performers interested in giving a recital to benefit the Feeding America cause are urged to sign up here!
So far, $7,000 has been raised and is being sent directly to Feeding America. The fundraiser is still open and we urge you to donate!
